In short

1. Who we are

Beacon Bay: Lighthouse Rush (the "Game") is developed and published by eoxyn ("we", "us", "our"). We are responsible for the Game and for this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Data stored on your device

The Game saves your progress locally on your device using Android's app storage: scores, gold, upgrades, unlocked cosmetics, daily quest and challenge progress, achievements, and your sound, music and tutorial settings. This data never leaves your device through us, and we cannot access it. It is removed when you clear the Game's data or uninstall it.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game is free and supported by ads. It shows optional rewarded ads (which you choose to watch for an in-game bonus) and occasional, frequency-limited interstitial ads between rounds. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited.

To serve ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

Data typeExamplesPurpose
Device or other identifiers Android Advertising ID, App Set ID Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention
Approximate location Derived from your IP address Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention
App interactions Ad views, clicks and video completions Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention
Diagnostics SDK crash logs and performance data Analytics, fraud prevention

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is encrypted in transit. Google may use it to show personalised ads where you have allowed it, and non-personalised ads otherwise. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before ads are requested. Where consent is required, ads are only loaded after you have made a choice. You can review or withdraw your choice at any time in the Game under Settings → Privacy Options. Our legal basis for ad-related processing in these regions is your consent; for fraud prevention and security it is our legitimate interest in keeping the Game working and safe.

5. Controlling ads on your device

6. Sharing score cards

When you tap Share on the results screen, the Game creates a score image on your device and opens Android's share menu. Nothing is sent to us. The app you choose to share with handles the image under its own privacy policy.

7. Permissions

The Game does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or precise location.

8. Children

The Game is intended for players aged 16 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Game, contact us and we will help remove it.

9. Retention and deletion

Game progress stays on your device until you clear the Game's data or uninstall it. Data collected by Google for ads is kept according to Google's own retention policies. Because we do not hold any personal data about you, there is no account to delete; you can still contact us with any request and we will answer it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for targeted advertising. To use these rights for ad data, use the in-game Privacy Options and your device's ad settings, or contact Google directly. You can also email us and we will help. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Security

Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Your local save data is protected by Android's app sandbox, which prevents other apps from reading it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Game changes or when the law requires it. The new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the Game's Google Play release notes.
